Your role
As a Warehouse & Material Handling Operator, you will play an important role in our operations, making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with the warehouse, production and shipping teams, helping to keep production running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive their deliveries as planned.
The work is varied and hands-on, with a high level of individual responsibility. Your tasks will include supplying production with materials such as wire coils and sheet metal, handling finished goods, and preparing products for storage and shipping. Forklift driving and internal transportation are a natural part of the job, along with order picking, preparing customer deliveries, and handling scrap and recyclable materials.
You will also prepare orders for warehouse picking, handle smaller picking tasks and register information in our WMS. An important part of the role is working in a structured and safe way and, together with your colleagues, contributing to an efficient and secure working environment
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is accurate, responsible and enjoys practical work in a fast-paced environment. You like keeping things organised, have an eye for detail and notice what needs to be done. You are comfortable taking initiative and working independently, while also enjoying being part of a team and helping your colleagues when needed.
Ideally, you have a forklift licence and basic computer skills. Previous experience in warehouse operations, forklift driving or production is an advantage.
