We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer for Garantell in Värnamo.

 

Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer who wants to help develop and improve our maintenance operations. In this role, you will work to ensure high operational reliability, optimize maintenance processes, and contribute to efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Analyze operational disruptions and perform root cause analyses to reduce unplanned downtime.

• Lead improvement projects related to maintenance and operational reliability.

• Participate in investments, rebuilds, and new installations of machinery and equipment.

• Be responsible for technical documentation, maintenance plans, and spare parts management.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and external suppliers to ensure high equipment availability.

• Actively work with health and safety, workplace environment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent experience.

 

• Experience in industrial maintenance and production equipment.

 

• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.

 

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

 

• Experience with maintenance systems, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Lean Manufacturing is considered an advantage.
