Garantell is open as usual and has full production capacity. However, we are experiencing problems in the international supply chain. Make sure there are staff on site who can receive the goods when you order from us, and please notify us in the event of a closure of the receiving company.
According to our Sales Conditions, paragraph 22: "If the buyer does not accept the goods on the agreed date, the buyer is still liable for payment as though the goods had been delivered. (---) If the buyer does not accept the goods, Garantell is entitled to invoice additional costs."
Garantell's products are manufactured in Sweden and often cross several national borders on their way to their final destinations in Europe. At present (20 March), no European countries have closed the borders for transports of goods, but there are major delays in deliveries. This is due to fewer border crossings, with longer mileage and long queues as a result, but also due to quarantine regulations and closed companies. The number of departures by ferries has also decreased, from Sweden especially towards Finland, the Baltic countries and Poland.
We employ established freight forwarders who comply with WHO's recommendations for loading and unloading and who have regulations regarding passage through hazardous areas and drivers' health conditions.
