To sum up Steve Jobs words, it is time for you to come to Garantell and be our new product developer.
Garantell is a family-owned company that creates and manufactures high-end wire mesh solutions. We believe in simplifying people's everyday lives. We are an award-winning company (winner of the Smart Industry Award 2018) and growing rapidly. We love to be trendsetters and digital systems are at the heart of our DNA. And no, we are not flawless. We are self-critical, love to go outside our comfort zone and believe in trusting people. So you do not have to be perfect, but enthusiastic! In other words, do you want to be part of our journey and help Garantell become the market leader in Europe?
Needless to say that as a product developer you play an important role in our company. You are responsible for developing new products or improving existing ones. Which is kind of logic.
We want you to become a dream catcher. By listening to our customers, you capture not only their ideas. You master the art of understanding a need before the person even realizes it him/herself. In collaboration with sales and the whole technical department you investigate what is possible and develop this further. So you need to have big ears- Dumbo will do fine- and big heart, in order to unite and work with a lot of different people. You have a holistic approach to things, but have also eye for details.
You are part of a small young, ambitious team, where Malin and Robin are enthusiastically waiting for you. Both of them are driven by a fundamental technical interest and hunger of figuring things out. And yes, they are a pleasant bunch to hang out with. Besides your role as product developer you must also love to contribute with your experience and you are expected to support and coach the others in your team whenever needed. Freedom and responsibility are key concepts to us.
We believe that you have at least a university degree in mechanics or mechanical engineering and a few years of experience in a similar position. Good knowledge of strength theory and experience in Solid Works are considered a great asset.
As a wonderful multicultural company, you need also to be able to speak English. And a notion of Swedish might come in handy!
